LMS Administrator
ABS Kids is looking for a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. As an LMS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our organization's learning management system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning and user-friendly experience of the LMS, enabling effective delivery of training, education, and professional development programs to our employees. Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. What Would You Do:
System Management and Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the LMS, including system updates, backups, and troubleshooting technical issues, course scheduling, content testing, general maintenance, account provisioning, access, and user permissions.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the LMS integrates seamlessly with other systems and platforms. Create technical requirements and facilitate LMS customizations and integrations. (For example, HRIS systems feeds, etc.)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels, ensuring data security and privacy.
- Create content for learners specific to navigation of the LMS. This can include reference guides, job aids, online courses, etc.
Content Management:
- Upload, organize, and manage learning content, including courses, assessments, resources, and multimedia materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Ensure content is properly tagged, categorized, and searchable for easy navigation.
User Support and Training:
- Provide user support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with technical problems.
- Develop and deliver training materials for users, including instructors and learners, to maximize their understanding of the LMS functionality.
- Foster a positive user experience by guiding users through the features and benefits of the LMS.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Generate on-demand and regularly scheduled reports and analyze reports on user engagement, course completion rates, and other relevant metrics.
- Utilize data insights to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of success.
- Make data-driven recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of learning programs.
System Enhancement and Customization:
- Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance the LMS interface and user experience.
- Customize the LMS to align with the organization's branding and visual identity.
- Research and implement new features and plugins to improve functionality and user engagement.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular audits of content, courses, and assessments to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with established standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to content display, navigation, and functionality.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience working with learning management systems (experience with Relias LMS preferred).
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and online learning best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
